It will be nice to have both Pulisic and Dembele at Chelsea, the duo was on fire at Dortmund
Although Pulisic is facing an uncertain future at Chelsea due to game time, he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge
After the game against Morocco Pulisic told ESPN
‘For whatever reason, I’m not super happy with the amount of Americans here, however that works out if I’m being completely honest. But thanks to the ones who did come, and the support is always great from them.’
The home side took the initiative early thanks to first-half goals for Brenden Aaronson and Timothy Weah. Morocco’s fate was then sealed with a late strike from the penalty spot for Pulisic’s former USA under-17 teammate Haji Wright on debut.
‘Haji and I go way back,’ Pulisic continued. ‘I think he needed that goal. He said he was confident to step up and take it, and I wanted him to get that confidence, and I’m glad he scored.’
‘I mean, it was a great win; we’re really happy. We started really well, got that early goal, and yeah, just a really strong performance. It’s nice to be back in America and playing again.’
