Manchester United midfielder summer target has revealed he will join Real Madrid this summer
However, Erik Ten Hag suffered set back as the player chose to join Real Madrid rather than Manchester United
Ten Hag is keen to rebuild Old Trafford with talented players this summer ahead of summer transfer moves
According to 90min, Manchester United has lost the race to Real Madrid in the signing of a promising player
Monaco has allowed Tchouameni to make the decision on his next club
Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain, and Manchester United are all interested in signing the France international midfielder
Real Madrid made signing Tchouameni a priority this summer after they failed to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, who instead extended his Paris Saint-Germain contract.
Monaco sporting director Paul Mitchell recently confirmed that the Ligue 1 outfit is willing to sell Tchouameni but warned they will be very aggressive with his transfer fee.
Asked by RMC Sport which club he would prefer Tchouameni to join this summer, Mitchell said:
“I don’t have a preference, to be honest! As always when you sell a player, there needs to be fair compensation. The market is different every year.
“Everyone was able to see what a top player Aurelien is, but everyone also knows that we are an ambitious club with an ambitious shareholder.
“So no, I have no preference when it comes to selling him. We will have to be very aggressive in terms of the fee we demand to lose such an incredibly gifted player.”
Aurelien Tchouameni will be in Spain in the coming days to sign for Real Madrid
