Manchester United center-back Victor Lindelof has hailed new Manchester United left-back Tyrell Malacia as a “really, really good” player after training with the new signing.
Malacia completed a £15m move to Old Trafford at the start of the month after leaving boyhood club Feyenoord.
“Tyrell has been great,” Lindelof told MUTV. ‘I’ve talked to him a little bit, and he seems like a great guy, and I think he’s going to fit right in with the squad with all of the guys.
“I’m looking forward to training with him more and working with him, but he is looking really, really good.”
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has revealed the club intends to trigger a clause in Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract to keep him at the club until 2024.
Ten Hag said: “I am well informed, he also has an option, no? So, yes (Ronaldo could extend his stay).”
“The same status as last week in Bangkok. No change,” Ten Hag added.
“He is training. I think we all know Ronaldo is a top professional and he will be fit – that is the last concern I have.”
