Done Deal: Manchester United officially confirm transfer of midfielder

Manchester United have confirmed 21 year old midfielder Dylan Levitt has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester United to Dundee United.

According to reports, Manchester United will receive a fee of £300,000 for the transfer of Levitt.

Levitt helped Dundee United qualify for European football in 2022-23 after scoring six goals in 29 appearances last season

However, while he was on loan and he was named the club’s Fans Player of the Year

He returned Old Trafford out of contract in the summer

But the Red Devils triggered an option in his contract to extend the deal by a further 12 months

A statement from Manchester United read: “We can confirm that Dylan Levitt has completed a permanent transfer

“from Manchester United to Dundee United for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance

“The Wales international, who joined United at the age of eight, will embark on a fresh chapter of his career

“in the Scottish Premiership after agreeing terms and passing his medical

“With the team that finished fourth in the top-flight north of the border last season

“He has also previously had loan spells away from Old Trafford with Charlton Athletic and NK Istra 1961.

“The midfielder made his senior United debut in the Europa League clash with Astana in the 2019/20 season

“The Academy would like to thank Dundee United for their support of Dylan whilst on loan last season

“And for their professionalism during discussions around his permanent transfer

“Levitt departs as an Academy graduate, having joined United at that early age

“And will always have a place in the club’s history books having represented the first-team in Europe

“Everybody at Manchester United wants to thank Dylan for his contribution to the club and wish him the best of luck for his career.”
