Manchester United has reached a full agreement on personal terms to sign Thomas Strakosha this summer transfer

However, following the departure of Dean Henderson’s on a long seaonal loan move to Nottingham Forest.

Strakosha is currently a free agent after leaving Lazio this summer.

The 27 year old goalkeeper is currently “training on his own in Rome” and is “waiting for the green light” to travel for his medical.

“Moreover, and are set to complete his signing.

“Strakosha is currently training on his own in Rome & is waiting on green light to travel for medical (he could join the Utd squad in Melbourne).”

However, as back-up to David de Gea following Dean Henderson’s loan move to Nottingham Forest.

Strakosha made 164 Serie A appearances during his time at Lazio, keeping 48 clean sheets in the process.

23 of those appearances came last season.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has revealed the commitment of Manchester United fans have motivated him to bring the ‘good times’ back to Manchester United.

Ten Hag said: “I do feel they are really committed to this club

“Waiting for good times and they are really supportive of Manchester United.

“It’s good to see that and it motivates me even more.”

He added: “We want to play a proactive style of football – on the ball and off the ball.

“That is, trying to do that has to be our intentions and it’s now, firstly, the coaches bring it over to the team that we are, in every situation, proactive.
