Barcelona player has told the club he will not reduce his salary after involving it on three occasions
However, Barcelona suffered set back as the club economy turmoil slowly started to unravel
The club is serious working toward immediate economic injection before the start of next season
According to reports, Barcelona has recently considered the possibility of cutting the costs by asking the players to take up yet another salary cut of around 50%.
The club had primarily wanted the older players to lower their salaries temporarily, in light of the financial crisis.
The likes of Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Gerard Pique are on higher salaries, with the latter being the highest-paid player on the team.

It has been revealed the club president has not yet met the highest-paid play considering the financial issues
The report suggests that the Barça veterans are not interested in taking a pay cut as they have already done so twice in the recent past
Pique, Alba, and Busquets’ salaries were already reduced during the pandemic.
It was followed by another pay cut last summer when the club was not able to register new players due to the high expenses of the team
Although the club captain Pique, has made it clear he will not reduce his salary at the club
